How much do you love F1?
I love F1 so much. I have been watching it since 1995 when I was 8 and haven't missed a GP since. I even have all the old F1 reviews from 1981-2008 on VHS/DVD in my room. When I was at school me and my friends used to pretend we were all driving racing cars! I really miss characters like Mika Hakkinen, Jean Alesi, Damon Hill. I get goosebumps when I think of 'The Chain'. I watch old F1 races on YouTube. I get up at 3am to watch the Japanese, Australian races :-)
I'm such a F1 maniac I can literally tell you off the top of my head who won which race and championship. Like who won the 1988 German GP (Ayrton Senna).
How much do you love F1.

TONY R: That would be Senna at the 1993 European GP at Donnington of course, making Prost and Hill look like fools in their dominant Williams FW15Cs :-)
Yes Conor, that was the Belgium GP 2000 when Hakkinen managed to do that amazing pass on Schumacher on the run down to Les Combes overtaking Zonta in the process as well. One of the best overtaking manouevers I have ever seen.

Not at all! It seems a criminal waste of fuel and resources if the world's supply of crude oil is really running out soon.
I cannot understand why the United Nations didn't outlaw motor-sports world-wide fifty years ago to protect the world's precious oil reserves.

i've loved f1 for too many years to remember. I envy you your good memory as I can't remember what happened yesterday let alone years ago lol. I'm not good with statistics but omg as soon as you hear the engines fire up and smell the fuel in the air you are hooked, heaven for a petrol head like me:)
I don't get up for the races, I stay up. at this moment in time there is 1 day, 1 hour and 27 minutes until free practise in Australia and now thanks to the red button facility on the bbc coverage i will be watching it

15 years ago i'd have stayed up until 5 in the morning to watch Suzuka and fake being ill monday morning so i didn't have to go to school
At the time of Schumi's dominance and ITV coverage i forgot races were even on! It's only these past few years with so many title contenders that it has regained my interest. The move to BBC also intrigues me. Has the spark been lost? Was it the lack of adverts that made it so great or the tones of the legendary Murray Walker?
I just hope FIA butt out this year!

I love F1 even more now that MS is not winning everything. I can't wait for the start of the season this weekend. I will also be watching the free practise via the red button.

Im now 20yrs young and i have to say im have been obseesed with this sport i would always stay up late to wtch the races live and i have been to the spanish gp a few times, however about four seasons ago i completly lost interest think it was because ms was winning everything and it became boring so i switched to motogp for a few seasons where theres always excitment. However i have to admit F1 has once again lured me back last season was unbealiable and what away to finish the season. I have to say that i miss the good ole days when schmacer and hakkinen went head to head. My most memoiable moment was wen schmacer and hakkinen were cumen down a straight and there was a backmaker schmacer went to the left of it and hakkinen to the right b4 hakkinen dived into the corner in front of schmacer, yes im definitely missing the good ole days of f1

Yes its by far and away my favourite sport, I love the races, cars and history of the sport, those who don't like F1 I usually find that they've never even seen a entire grand prix.
Only race Ive missed since I started watching was the 1997 French grand prix.
Havent been this excited for the start of a new season since 2000, I think.
