The title should not sound bad, i had a question regarding dreams/crossing over and other paranormal stuff. ok so i had a dream about Heath Ledger the other night and it was such a vivid dream, almost seemed like reality but when i asked my mum about it she said that it signifies going into another space or crossing over basically. i wanted to know what this means from several aspects as well as what this crossing over thing is? |

In the movie Batman with Heath Ledger, the Joker gives to different stories how he got his facial scars. One story is about is his alcoholic father and the knife drawn to his face 'Why so serious' and the other about himself with respect to his sick wife trying to appease her by putting razor blades in his mouth. My question is whether or not the Joker is purposely lying about his past.
Let me clarify, I meant to say is the Joker conscious of the fact that he is lying |

Someone should at least write a book first or something. Whatever he did worked...and ended up killing him. That was not the same Heath Ledger I knew from the other junk roles he did. It was like he allowed the devil to possess him. It's kind of scary that he died soon after, like he sold his soul or something.
I kind of thought something was wrong when I saw him on Jay Leno two years ago. He looked like he was on heroin. |

He was the main villian.
The supporting actors were Morgan Freeman, Michael Caine and Echart (sp?).
If you compare it to other nominees. i.e Tom Cruise in Tropic Thunder, Ledger had much more screen time than most of them and he wasn't supporting Bale as the hero.

Okay, the character the Joker itself is evil, sick, demented, twisted, and cruel. The way Heath Ledger played him made the Joker seem SO COOL!!!! I mean, not that I'm psycho or anything, but he made the Joker seem cool! Best movie this year so far!!!!! OMG!!!!! He did such an awesome job! I was blown away! I've seen it about three times already!!! Who agrees with me? |

Who would you pick? And for fun, who would you pick to play Harley Quinn?
For The Joker I would choose Daniel Day-Lewis. He's a brilliant actor and brings a great intensity to all his roles. He is also one of the few actors, I think, that could take on the part of The Joker after Heath's phenomal performance and make it his own. For Harley my top choice would be Christina Ricci.

Chateau Marmont hotel.
Did Heath Ledger not know he was being taped?

I read that the medical examiner's office said that Heath had a severely high temp at his time of death. Was this perhaps caused by his pnemonia or his medications? Did it play a part in his death and could something have been done if his high temp had been observed in time? |

Ok, so, first, Heath Ledger didn't show up to The Dark Knight's premiere.Then, he doesn't even accept the Oscar (better things to do??), now, he won't even be in the next batman movie!!! I have two Heath Ledger Joker Movie Masters action figures from the the Dark Knight and they both look awesome but i can't decide if i should open one of them or not. So what would you guys do? Mr. Ledger made some great movies: Broke Back Mountain, 10 things... I thought that the Dark Night was average and not his best work, the other actors, makeup and special effects brought up his performance. I understand that he died tragically but what is the big deal? |

When the Dark Knight was being filmed my friend's brother managed to get me Heath Ledger's autograph on my copy of Brokeback Mountain. I also have Christian Bale's, Michael Caine's and Christopher Nolan's on the Prestige and Christopher Nolan's on Memento. How much do you think I could get for those if I sold them on E-Bay or something?
...I don't necessarily want to sell this, i'm just curious as to how much you think I could get. |

I feel it's a great loss to the film industry but mostly to his family :( He was a wonderful actor and will be sadly missed by many :(

We can add many more I'm sure but these three (except Marilyn who was actually killed by the Kennedys) were killed from drug overdoses but have been memorialized as heroes. Yet Rush Limbaugh is demonized for abuse of prescription drugs. Do you feel this is a double standard? Why is Robert Downey Jr. OK but not Rush? |

I personally think the director should let the Joker go, because no one can play the Joker any better than Heath. And who would you like to see as the next villian? Someone ruthless maybe, to help Batman redeem his status as the crime fighter of Gotham. Also, has there been any news on a third installment of the new Batman films? Thanks for the time. |

Is it possible to overdose on something like Unisom or other kinds of sleeping pills you buy at Rite Aid? Or did he use prescribed pills?...That is if he did it. They say the maid and masseuse found him alive, but unconscious at 3 pm. The detective now says that pills were not scattered around him. And then they report he passed away around 3.30pm.
I really question this.
He may have been in a massive deep sleep from exhaustion, they freaked out, and didn't know what to do, and made things worse for him. |

After all it's my opinion. I just don't respect him, because he played a horrible Joker, and he is a druggie. He failed as The Joker, and as a father. He left his 4 year old girl fatherless for his own selfish reasons, but she will always remember him because of her flat nose lol. When the Dark Knight was being filmed my friend's brother managed to get me Heath Ledger's autograph on my copy of Brokeback Mountain. I also have Christian Bale's, Michael Caine's and Christopher Nolan's on the Prestige and Christopher Nolan's on Memento. I feel bad about Heath Ledger dying, but why is the press going so crazy over this? You turn on the TV and it's all you see, you turn on the computer and it's all you read. It's really sad and I feel for his family, but what is up with the way they are covering this? And why are they putting out reports about him being depressed and overdosing when they don't have a clue? Guess the economy, politics and Iraq aren't that important anymore! I just don't get it. |

He was much better and displayed more real emotional depth in I'm Not There. By it's very nature Batman is still comic book and doesn't call for a real depth of human understanding and behaviour. Am I missing something here? |

Everytime I hear the story about Heath Ledger's death, they always say he was found face down, but in a "normal" face down position. What do they mean by that? I feel bad about Heath Ledger dying, but why is the press going so crazy over this? You turn on the TV and it's all you see, you turn on the computer and it's all you read. It's really sad and I feel for his family, but what is up with the way they are covering this? When the Dark Knight was being filmed my friend's brother managed to get me Heath Ledger's autograph on my copy of Brokeback Mountain. I also have Christian Bale's, Michael Caine's and Christopher Nolan's on the Prestige and Christopher Nolan's on Memento. How much do you think I could get for those if I sold them on E-Bay or something?

Ok so i saw the dark knight last night and it was amazing. In reganrds to Heath Ledger's death my mom and borther said the role he played "the Joker" caused him to kill himself because he got to into character and it messed him up?. my mom also said Jack Nicholson played the character the Joker years ago and it messed him up to? can this role really play with people's minds? |

How many people hearing about Heath Ledger feel that his death over-hyped his legacy.
I mean I understand that he left a daughter behind, but was he really a grand actor like Tom Hanks, Jim Carrey, or The Late Charelston Heston.
or did people like him becuase he was a young attractive actor like Johnny Depp.
Alot of women tell me Depp is a good actor, but I feel that they only like him cuz he is young and his acting talent is no where near hanks or carrey.
But was Heath a good actor or do people say it out of sympathy and just out of respect.
I'm not dissing the guy or anything i just want to know people's thoughts on the late actor |

Over the years I have found Heath pleasant, interesting, and full of life. He has never liked the "interview process" but many movie stars do not. My last interview, however, was very different. It was for the movie I'm Not There. I must tell you that I have never seen him so unhinged and figity as he was for this interview. Many of the journalists who spoke to him also feel the same way...but we had not idea he would die within weeks. Here is the complete interview I had with him just weeks ago for his latest movie. I'm not posting this because it was a great interview, because it certainly wasn't one of my best. I am posting it so people out there can get a better understanding of Heath's state of mind just before he died. Rest in peace. |

Ah The Joker. The Joker is probley the greatest villan ever made. He is a pychopath a monster but at sametime he as been funny. Joker is the only villan that as been changed hundreds of times. He as gone from a clown to a campy back to dark. But nobody would have prepared who guessed to what ledger did. Ledger was a actor who was underated but when he choose a role like joker people started to worry if he would ruin the character. In 2007 he announced tht he locked himself away for 6 weeks and started getting into joker. He completed filming in dec 2007 month later he died. When his film hit cinima the name heath ledger became a ledgend and this character will never be forgotten he will be missed by his fans cause he had so much more to give. When it was announced that Heath Ledger would be cast as the Joker in 2006 I was very sceptical, like many others, if he was the right choice for the role. But when the first official image appeared on the internet in early 2007 all my doubts were blown away by the amazing and horrifying direction that they taking this iconic character, and probably the greatest villian in history. As more and more footage and voice snippets were released I was assured that Ledger had surely made this role his own. The tragic fact that he passed away shows the world has lost a truely dedicated and inventive actor.
