Drama sparks between Dave Grohl and Taylor Swift, after the Foo Fighters front-man suggests the pop-singer doesn’t sing live.
During a Foo Fighters concert in London, Grohl joked “We were joking about the Taylor Swift tour earlier. I know that she’s on her ‘Eras’ tour. I’m telling you, man, you don’t want to suffer the wrath of Taylor Swift.”
He continued “So we like to call our tour the ‘Errors Tour. We’ve had more than a few eras, and more than a few fucking errors as well. Just a couple. That’s because we actually play live. What? Just saying. You guys like raw, live rock ‘n’ roll music, right? You came to the right fucking place.”
At his statements, Swift’s fanbase or the “Swifties” were angered, as they began to bash the Foo Fighters on social media, leaving comments comparing the two’s success. Taylor Swift on the other hand, clapped back in a recent show, saying that she and her band do perform live for 3 and a half hours.
Grohl has always shown Swift support over the years, always expressing love for her music. Although, fans suspect that he may have changed due to Swifties harassing his daughter, Violet Grohl, for her tweets on X/twitter a while back.
Among those tweets were “Why can’t taylor swift drive like a normal person” and of course as usual, Swifties were at the scene to defend the popstar. Violet received large amount of hate and bullying on social media, which could explain Dave Grohl’s switch up.
